Racist remarks are ugly wherever they are found, IMO. Yes, Yahoo and Fox “take the cake” these days.

But I’m sure not comfortable dismissing remarks in other places just because you think they are rare.

I’m not dismissing a damn thing. I have no idea why you think I am.

I’m objecting to the knee-jerk use of Huffington Post as a talisman to ward off stories about racism on Fox— especially when its comments made on a website being compared to actually headlines on Fox News.

We have people being openly racist about the president. The president. Not some stereotypical gang-banger who’s living an easily-parodied lifestyle, but the president of the US. It’s ugly.

The pledge that talked about how much better black kids off were back during slavery, that was hideously ugly— and signed by candidates for president on the GOP side.

It has become much, much, much more okay to be openly racist since Obama has been in office, and it’s depressing as hell.
