Well, you know, an artist intends his work to convey certain things. Modifying that work makes it mean other things. In this case, putting the Fearless Girl in front of the Charging Bull changes the meaning of the Bull. So, I can understand the artist being upset. Suppose someone put a big bronze rodeo rider on the bull’s back, or a matador next to it, with a cape?
The thing is, once the piece of art leaves the artist’s studio, the public decides what it means to them.
