For a while, Tim Pawlenty instituted a program where Minnesotans could import prescription meds from Canada. First time I tried to use it, the meds were confiscated by the Dept. of Homeland Security. When I talked to someone at the state, they told me that confiscations were rare so try it again. I got another letter from DHS very quickly telling me they’d confiscated the meds again. The quick turnaround clued me in that the DHS already had my info on file. Pissed the hell out of me and I didn’t try it again. This was probably back around 2013.
