Singapore has been run by very competent, well-educated, intelligent authoritarians (not fascists). So that model can be successful and provide a good lifestyle to the population, without leaders being outright racists and bullies. But our population would not take kindly to being run by an intellectual elite — because much of the population has a contempt for education and experts.

That good lifestyle is for ethnic-Chinese Singaporeans. Ask the brown-skinned Singaporeans what they think of their paradise.
