I’d like to read it before I say this, but I think his ‘reasonably centrist’ position violates international law.
I almost always agree with you, but on this one I am confused. Doesn’t the law state that a legal asylum claim has be presented at the border to an agent at a border crossing? If so, then it seems crossing into the US and THEN claiming asylum is already not a valid process. In that case, isn’t this just restating the existing law?
