Here’s the thing - how many people will actually keep tabs on what any of the GOP politicians say when it gets down to crunch time in the general elections outside of the political junkies? Most people aren’t paying attention to the clown car circus of the GOP primaries. They’re more concerned with going paycheck to paycheck. They’re reading headlines and those headlines aren’t indicating just how extreme the positions the GOP is taking - even in reference to CPAC.

This stuff isn’t going to hammer home until after the conventions, and by then, it may be too late for people to realize just how off the rails the GOP has gone.
