That kind of shit is neither liberal nor conservative. It is hard-core, totalitarian, religious fundamentalism.

And just so’s ya know, conservative leaner though I am, I hate when communism gets slapped with the “liberal” label. It is anything but. Same goes for fascism in my book.

Oh I know. I was mocking right wingers who attribute every totalitarian regime in history to the left and liberals. I definitely agree with you that regimes like the Taliban defy the liberal and conservative labels. I would call them religious reactionaries though but that’s not really political.
