And unfortunately, the problem is often in the opposite direction; kids are kicked out, forced to leave, abandoned, or run away due to the rejection. And the streets are a very, very, very rough fucking place for kids. That, to me, is an utter abdication of parental responsibility, either forcing or letting your kid go out into that cruel land.

To me, this is one of the follies of socon chest-beating on their supposedly superior “family values”. Those values can lead to broken up families with estranged parents and offspring.

Anything for ideological purity, I guess. I think it should also be stressed that it’s not just homosexuality; people defending socon childrearing should really be thanking you for broaching the easiest, most obvious topic.
