Funny: we live in a more highly interconnected world, where the guys who make the big coin depend far more on the social infrastructure than they did in TR’s day. And yet these self-important clowns feel less connected to the body politic, and have less insight into their reliance on (and debt for) the larger social infrastructure that makes their success possible. (“It’s MY money. I earned it! Taxes are the confiscation of MY MONEY by force and have no moral basis!”)

Or even more absurd, the ones that claim there’s some constitutional or moral imperative to preserve the Bush tax rates. Like those came down on a stone tablet.
