Somewhere on the internet is this rant about the shortcomings of the youth of the day. Allegedly a Roman Senate rant.

I’ve seen one in a book quoting merchants and civic officials in Oxford complaining about the university students being drunk, loud, irreligious, and destructive. In the 1200s.

I used a quote from that in a speech I gave at a fraternity event. :)
