If the young people voted at the rate of 100% I would agree. They don’t. Besides I dont go by someone’s skin color or age - I go by how well they handle themselves in stressful situations. Al Fraken has been amazing on his committees asking great questions and doing the people’s work. He is articulate, smart, witty, and has a command of knowledge (and learning of that knowledge) to the point I believe he can debate any topic.

I understand, and that is a good trait in you. However, how are the Democrats going to energize their voting base, which is young and diverse? As much as I like Franken, I don’t think he’ll inspire a lot of young African-Americans and Hispanics to go vote the way President Obama did.
