I think the BBs are so focused on their revolution that they’re not thinking about issues like sexism, racism, etc discrimination against the disabled, etc. They’re focused on income inequality and don’t get me wrong, I’m right there with them on that because that IS a problem but at the same time, where’s the beef on the other things too. You could fix income inequality and you’d still have a ways to go because there would be other problems too. I really think this is a fault that many socialist types have. It’s not that I think Bernie is racist, sexist, or prejudiced against the disabled. No, far from it but I don’t think he understands that even a product of the middle class like myself on the autistic spectrum can face the same trouble finding work that someone less well off does. Now I will acknowledge that because of my background, I do have more resources at my disposal but I do think he and his campaign need to be aware of this.
