In college I was a “social affiliate” with a fraternity that was about half Jewish kids and half non-Jewish (I think what bound them was The Grateful Dead and drugs). Once a year they would have a “Jews vs Gentiles” keg challenge. Two mini-kegs, one per side. The point was first to get shitfaced and second to win. Not sure what was at stake besides pride.

Sounds like the point was that “if you could still remember the stakes when the kegs were empty, you hadn’t drunk enough….”
