The reality of our environmental situation is way way worse than it should be but not close to what fatalistic gen-z kids who are screaming at old people about having no future think it is.

Not until the frozen methane is released, anyway. We’ve seen that the voters who support the people who fight against stopping warming can’t even smarten up in the face of a pandemic that’s killing them, so I’m not optimistic. Gen-Z may not have no future, but they have a future on a planet that is not the paradise that we enjoy today.
