I am the ultimate neophyte, but am so interested.

What is your take on the right wing Christian (Palin/Beck etc.) support of Israel? Are they sincere to most Israelis?

I’ve read many commentaries on this before, but would really appreciate a view from a “live” person.

The evangelicals who support Israel because of its place in their end times mythology, I grit my teeth and clench my hands tightly behind my back to keep from screaming obscenities while punching them in the face.

The moderately conservatives who support Israel because we need their help with intel on middle east psychotics, or because their tech and medical R&D is magnificent, or even just because they have a crush on Bar Rafaeli or Oded Fehr, I’m grateful for their wisdom and good taste.
