I developed a taste for putanesca (sp?) sauce a few years back. Think it’s about time to learn to make it for myself.
here is a common recipe, personally I prefer non-balsamic vinegar and fresh tomatoes…
12 anchovies
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon dried chilli
1 tin tomatoes
1 small splash balsamic vinegar
a dozen olives chopped
2 teaspoons capers
basil
