It’s always the coverup that kills, more than the initial transgression.

That’s the truth. I didn’t really pay too much attention to this story, but when it was reported that this guy “took a last minute trip to Argentina”, that got my attention.

Who does that? No one I know. People take last minute trips to the Walmart, not to South American cities. He just “happened” to have his passport with him? When did he buy his ticket? A walk-up, full-fare ticket to Argentina from SC must have cost thousands. I have a feeling that as this story unwinds, it’s only going to get stranger and stranger.
