For those of you who were asking (and I really thank you for your concerns), I heard from my mom and she’s fine. Her rabbi got the news during the service that Gabrielle had died! Which was quite a shock for the congregation, of course, because they all know her. She has attended services there. But then, of course, found out that she was going through surgery.

Mom said she has a lot of these public townhall meetings. She always felt it important to make herself available to the public she represents.

We’re still praying, like I know you all are, for everyone who’s been hurt by this horrific tragedy.
