Sears waited too long to introduce NON-Sears brands into their stores. By the time they did, the Best Buys (electronics) Kohls (clothes) and stores like those had a grip on the “name brand” market
Well, another problem for Sears is that they’re a chain that built its name on quality and service, if not always the cheapest prices. Right now, cheap throwaway shit is a big draw and the Sears model just doesn’t fit it.
