The original Carl’s Jr. was in Brea, CA. But they called it #2, because Carl built a nice, new headquarters in Anaheim, which was called #1. I worked at the one in Brea. It was my first above-the-table (on the payroll) job. My first raise was when minimum wage went up. Then I learned about Carl’s politics. So many things about that job pissed me off.

I love Carl’s Jr low carb burgers. Love them. It’s my first stop when I go to a state that has them. I hate the guy’s politics. I haven’t been anywhere they are served in a while. I think it’s time to try Whataburger. I had In n Out and think it sucks.
