But why was the issue polling so much more favorably even a month ago? You think people had a chance to think about it and concluded maybe that the devil they know is better than the devil they didn’t know?

I think I saw this earlier, but his support on the left seems to be taking a beating. Progressives are upset that he is taking a more middle of the road stance and considering abandoning the public option.
