The Taliban claim responsibility - and that’s a video that was apparently authentic. However, there doesn’t appear to be any ties to the Taliban. Just because the Taliban video is authentic doesn’t mean that the Taliban aren’t lying about a connection. They could be just trying to take responsibility where none exists. Moreover, they’re taking credit for a failed attack.
