I wish people would take seriously who they’re electing to represent them on school boards. Remember that one asshole in Arkansas who wrote on his facebook no less that he wished gay teens would just kill themselves. Sheesh, this guy’s a great example of why local isn’t always better.

Unfortunately, they don’t run on those slogans/ beliefs/ thoughts. When they are campaigning it is all baby kissing and glad handing and telling whatever group they happen to be in front of at that time “I’m working for you”
