Logically, I get all of what you and David Simon are saying. I hate to tap my inner Tea Party, but there is just something really creepy about any government conducting this kind of surveillance on a massive scale.
I kind of liken it to the recent SCOTUS decision where basically you have to give your DNA if you get grabbed by the cops, regardless of whether you’ve even been charged with anything. Once that data is recorded, it ain’t going anywhere.
There’s too much potential for abuse for my liking.
