It fascinates me that the opposition to President Obama is not ideological. Very few people notice that the Affordable Care Act is bringing millions of people into the PRIVATE insurance system. No one cares what the President is doing about Syria or Iran. No one cares that federal deficits have been falling for the past several years. No one cares about the history of the September 15, 2008 crash and the Great Recession that followed. The opposition to the President is on an entirely different level: “I know you are, but what am I.” It has everything to do with primitive, childish hate, and very little to do with ideology.
