Does it not occur to these people that HUSBANDS, too, would like if their wives’ health care policy (or their own, if it’s a family policy) were to cover IUD’s? Are they somehow convinced that husbands won’t mind having to shell out $1000 upfront, or that husbands all want their wives to have as many pregnancies and as many children as they’re physically capable of?

Newsflash… very few Duggar families in this world. Please take note next time you’re at mass… there’s not a lot of families with 9 or 10 or 11 children these days. Even among the devout Catholics.

(I dunno about the rest of you, but in my circle of acquaintances condoms are the go-to for people who haven’t examined two years of each other’s blood test results, switching to pills and IUD’s and escaping from barrier methods is one of the great markers of commitment.)
