Not to mention that I’d reckon from a statistical POV, older people are more likely to have pre-existing medical conditions (that’s just the price we pay for getting older).

Older people, IIRC, are a rather large segment of the GOP’s voting base.

That’d make a good mid-term campaign commercial, actually - “Hey, uhh, ya know, Trump and the Republican Party? Yeah…….they’re trying to kill you. Seriously. I don’t know why, but for some reason, they want you dead.”
