How’s work going?

Work is going. In some strange way, I’m really into this new blue-collar phase of my life. I’ve done a little of so many things, this is like full circle, since the first job I had was at 14 as a bagger in a supermarket in Northern New Jersey (yes, they allow a 14 year old to work, at least in Jersey, in the 60’s).

And considering how fucked up the economy is right now, it’s nice to be working with people who are most effected by this economy. I learn a lot from them, and I gain a lot of respect that I may thought I have had in the past, but this makes it even more real.

And over all, since the occasional programming project from Kaiser puts a little extra in my pocket and the fact that I can still keep the brain cells clicking (programming for me is a mind fuck, almost euphoric in nature), that part helps my need for challenges.

And then, my current foray into jewelry making cover the artistic side of me, since I’m not actively doing any theatre work or working on any scripts. And the few bucks I make off on one from selling something through my online store, or one of the local shops here in the mountains that sell my stuff, that helps financially too.

Is it to much to say I’m comfortable, in ways money wouldn’t satisfy right now?
