Nice shots. Were they stopped down or wide open? I know a lot of macro shooters don’t like the shorter macro lenses because some subjects are skittish and you have to get so close it can sometimes obscure your own light. But I prefer the wide lenses, they exaggerate proportions and force you to get in close with your subjects - light and flight are mitigated with patience and planning.
