I know it’s hard to ignore the drooling idiot Klansman right in front of you, but he is ultimately not as great a threat to justice as the silk suited libertarian grifter or the comfortably retired Tea Party adherent.
Go after the Klan, by all means, but don’t take your eyes off the real powers of reaction and neo-feudalism.

I recall something important said in 1632 novel by Eric Flint in particular 1635 the Dreason Incident

“It’s not enough to “feel” or “think” this or that bias or prejudice. To keep those biases and prejudices solid, give them meat and bone, you have to be able to act on them. “
