Stylistically, I think it would be cool if they could render Tubman in a style in keeping with the engraving-like portraits of the current bills: it bit less photorealistic, a bit more evocative of printing with etched plates.

And my reasoning is that in addition to the aesthetic continuity, it would signify that she belongs alongside the other figures as a figure that merits equivalent standing in representing something vital about our nation. It’s easy to create a mythic founding at one point in time, with mythic founders, but the intent of this nation when founded—and how it has operated—is that we concede the need for new ideas and new people. We re-found ourselves regularly; we re-visit and overturn old ideas.
