OT: Quarter after one a.m. here, and my wife is starting to bake a twenty-one pound turkey.

There are two of us, so after today we will have turkey pierogi, turkey soup, turkey rolls, turkey surprise, surprise turkey again… .

She always liked to bake turkeys for some reason: When she worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, the company gave all its employees turkeys (well, a coupon for turkey). She would pay people who were single, didn’t cook, &c for their turkeys and put them in her freezer and have turkey for half a year.
