This is a teaching moment for the University, and I’m not sure this is the lesson that they want people to learn. They aren’t tolerating opposing opinions. That’s within their rights, but it also shows that academia has its hypocrites on both sides of the aisle.

The university (the general and collective for higher education) is supposed to be a place where opinions and long held beliefs are challenged. Instead, what we have here is a repudiation of that very concept.

Hey, that’s within their right, but that doesn’t mean that they did the right thing. In the long term, it continues the polarization on college campuses across the nation.
