God forgives.
The offenders asks forgiveness of the offended.
However in the hear and now, the Law must be satisfied.

God’s forgiveness is for he hereafter, the temporal law still stands.

A truly repent person would asks forgiveness from God and those he offended, and admit guilt and accept the temporal judgement.
