They are not “opposing thoughts”.Socialism and fascism have much in common.Think “greater good”.Is there anything either system won’t do to people for “the greater good”.

There are many things the government can require for “the greater good”. But depriving individuals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,should be verbotten.And is unconstitutional in the USA. But not under communism or socialism.
