Speaking of spaced out stoner rock I was talking to a college age friend of mine who is into music and he had never heard of Iron Butterfly. I really felt the generation gap. I told him the old joke that long songs meant the DJ was in the bathroom.

ahahaha yes. :D DJs confirm this! I’m 33, and I’m a fan of a lot of 70’s proto-stoner stuff. I’m a huge Hawkwind fan.
