There are not enough strings on a harp to make it chromatic, you gotta push pedals or flip levers to alter the pitch of strings to fit a particular key

So they shift the entire tuning, or just certain strings or sections of strings?

Pardon me for asking potentially dumb questions - I’ve never been near a harp, let alone played one.
