As Bill Bennett said this morning, they have been doing the research for a while, and the fact that private industry hasn’t begun sponsoring it shows that the results have not bene forthcoming. Strangely enough, better results have been achieved with adult stem cells!

I was reading recently about some cases (in England maybe?) where patients had been treated for some ailment with embryonic stem cells, and had developed brain tumors after the stem cell treatment. The successes have all come from adult stem cells; the embryonic argument is about protecting “the right to abortion”.
