I saw it on local TV a few minutes after it happened. All the local programs interrupted their regular programming, and even the news at 5PM was still all about it. I sat here holding my breath…

A true miracle. For once, everything went well, and if it were Friday, instead of Thursday? The Hudson River would be even colder…the pilot? Just phenomenal.

And re the subject of blackouts? NYC is a mess, and the power grids here are so overloaded…
