I can (and do) use it in the written form. But when speaking to someone (as in, “Hello. Ms. Smith. Nice to meet you) , I find it awkward

My Dear Ole’ Dad always used Mz. Not because he was being a feminist or anything, that’s just how it sounded with his Kentucky drawl.

Worked out well for him.
