I suppose if you define “upturn” as “not quite dead yet” then you’re correct.

Before Bush left office the economy had CRASHED and we were losing 600,000 jobs a month. The fact that the economy is “not dead yet” as you put it is frankly an accomplishment in itself, one achieved with little to no help from Congress. Had Congress actually cooperated…and again, the claim that Obama had a filibuster-proof supermajority for two years is a damn outright LIE..we’d probably be doing much better.

And what exactly did O contribute to finding bin Laden ?

Oh, made it a priority, unlike Bush? Gave the agencies the resources and push they needed to do the job? Made the call for a risky operation on Pakistani soil that could have easily blown up in his face?
