Actually, NO…In Canada, if you are found guilty of “hate speech” (criminal trial proceedings), you can get up to 14 years. (that would be advocating genocide, for example, and violating the provisions of Canada’s Criminal Code.) (When there’s insufficient evidence for a criminal proceeding, police refuse to lay charges — then it may be shoved off onto a Human rights commission — where your “rights” as the accused are virtually non-existent, etc.)
