Fact remains, though, the folks running to defend Mandy’s trauma over hearing Tennesseans called bigoted hicks (which they weren’t, precisely) don’t seem to care much, for the most part, when Californians are called anti-American, anti-Israel haters who look down on ‘flyover country’.

I don’t sweat it too much, or I try not to. And I try to be fair-minded about everyone’s hood. But there is a partisan double-standard operating, and the dirty hands are not on one side or the other.
