Very interesting thing happened at last night’s Umphrey’s McGee Red Rocks show. For their number “End Of The Road” guitarist Jake Cinninger switched guitars (something that pretty much never happens). The guitar he was playing once belonged to Jerry Garcia and was his main ax through the middle 70s.

Well, as it happens, one of the band’s friends bought that guitar at auction and they brought it to Red Rocks and asked Jake if he wanted to play it at the show.
