Remember that in this case he is not pro-Palestine. If the US supported Palestine over Israel he would be Israel’s biggest supporter.

Right or wrong is irrelevant to GG - it’s all about trying to damage the US by any means possible.

He is a convert. Back in the day he had the opposite opinion…that the US could and should do anything for security.

There is a theory, maybe it has a name, that those who have very strong beliefs when persuaded to the other side go much farther to that side than those who hold the the same beliefs but with a more moderate position. This latter group when persuaded goes more to the center.

I think when GG realized he was on the wrong side of history he had to salvage his career. He went so far the other way that he can now blow off any criticism of his former positions. See…I saw the light, I am the avenger! How can you blame me for anything I said 10 years ago?

I am always happy to see a convert who takes a moderate position but boy, it is like some former alcoholics or smokers; they are almost insufferable.

Look at some former “liberals” like David Horowitz and Michael Savage.

Or…maybe it is just the $$$.
