re: #56 gocart mozart
I don’t get Walker at all. What is the appeal, even for wingnuts. He’s like a watered down version of Ted Cruz with the personality of a doorstop. “The Great Whitebread Hope!” Yeah right. I get that he is acceptable to all factions of the party i.e. everyone’s second choice but really, would even an alcoholic want to have a beer with him?
I do not understand his appeal, which scares me. I clearly understood the appeal of Rick Perry, but he crashed and burned early.
Walker seems to be innocuous enough to be what they need right now: someone who pisses liberals off, someone who can be the anti-Hillary, someone with serious wingnut credentials (union-busting, budget-cutting and Koch-coddling), but not as massively looneybins (at least on the surface) as to scare off a lot of moderates.
If Trump throws his support behind him, he could really pull out ahead.
