I took your comment to mean you were saying “religious liberty” as a concept was just being used by hucksters. If you were referring to some organization or movement I am unaware of then please let me know. I was trying to defend the concept, not some bunch of assholes.

He clearly meant the buzzword. I know you’re a very literal person but I think it was pretty obvious that he was talking about “religious liberty” as opposed to actual religious liberty which is you being able to worship at the church of your choice without worried about being arrested or having to pay taxes for other churches.
