Former TX Gov. Rick Perry said on Fox yesterday that Trump will “”peel [Hillary Clinton’s] skin off in a debate setting.”” This is the guy who couldn’t remember the three federal agencies he wanted to abolish when he was on a debate stage. Those of us who’ve been paying attention to Trump already know that he knows nothing about foreign policy, economics, healthcare, national security, etc., so I’m stumped by Perry’s claim. No matter how much Trump studies before the general election debates begin, I still think he’ll be incapable of showing mastery on any matter and will resort to bluster and insults. I definitely expect to hear him say, “Lying Hillary” X number of times, and when he does, he and his supporters will think he’s winning.
