Not very much. However, we buy oil from other countries as part of a larger market, so there is indirect influence on prices. If we buy more oil from one country, another country has to guy more of theirs from another, like a ME country.

So American oil companies that have invested billions get the oil out of the ground for these countries on our current shit list are OK to sell to whomever?
