Don’t fool yourselves. This isn’t about the specifics. Read the post again. This about the reaction from the right wing and more specifically bretibart.com. You’re missing the point completely if you think this is about a specific reference to the bible or him using the phrase “pansy assed.” These people are already against bullying legislation and against Dan Savage from the onset of anything. This is an obvious excuse for them to go over the top. If you ignore this or even show any empathy towards the Ben Shapiro’s of this world you’re facilitating the perpetuation of hate.

Well, I think the incident itself is more interesting that the fake outrage from wingnuts. If he insulted Muslims CAIR would be outraged. If he insulted liberals you would be outraged. Everybody’s outraged, I don’t find that very interesting.
